Nicholas Petrou is an aspiring inspirer and currently lives in London. He studied and has achieved a Bachelors and Masters Degree in History at Goldsmiths University, where he focused on a wide range of subjects including Organized Crime, Medieval Islamic Empires, The Roman Empire and the First World War. Both of his dissertations focused on Military History, including Provincial Governing in the Roman Empire and Surrender in the British Expeditionary Force during 1914. Currently, he was a Historical Researcher for Historical African Martial Arts (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1559419451037192/?ref=br_rs) and ‘Scholae Palantinae’, and organisation that seeks to reconstruct Historical combat in the Roman and later Eastern Roman World.
When not being academic, Nicholas likes to immerse in a wide variety of things from poetry to current events and previously has been a practitioner of Historical European Martial Arts.
